We Have Skills! wins a Telly Award

IRIS Educational Media is singing a celebratory song!


We Have Skills! , 
a new multi-media curriculum for teaching K-3 students social skills, has won a Telly Award for best use of music in the non-broadcast video and film category.  Over 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries comprised the 32nd Annual Telly Awards.  Judging is done by top advertising and production professionals who recognize merit in creative work.  We Have Skills! uses music and video to teach children seven fundamental social skills to help them succeed in school. The short, catchy tunes composed by Jessie Marquez, program developer for IRIS Educational Media, draw on a variety of musical styles and diverse cultural experiences.  To hear a sample song from
