Social Skills for School Success K-3

We Have Skills! is an engaging, evidence-based curriculum for teaching school adjustment skills to K – 3 grade students.  IRIS Educational Media brought together researchers, school staff, parents and students to develop this intervention to serve the needs of school communities.

From fall 2011 to early winter 2012, we conducted an evaluation study of the WHS! program.  We welcomed teachers from four school districts to participate in the study, which consisted of filling out two questionnaires and using our universal screening tool to monitor student behaviors.  Half of the teachers received the WHS! program and materials to use during the study and the other half received the materials at the end of the study.  We provided two training sessions on how to use the program and implement strategies for supporting Tier 2 students.  Here is the link to the second training:
